Kia uusr to have a buy. One get one. Deal in the. Eearlyy too mid 90's.they were small compact cars. But you could get 2 of them for like $7000

The price was $2,995 in 1980 for a brand new one. My uncle, a hard core drill sgt, guard at unknown soldier tomb and drove a ‘76-ish Camaro, traded all in to buy a Yugo. The initial hype of a cheap car made a few people buy them…but then they started talking and y’all know the history from there. As a kid, we loved riding in it. (Also, he is a very responsible man and my cousin was just born so he cut costs to afford a bigger house for all the kids)

My buddy had a 1989 blue one and we have a long straight hill and we got it to 105 and the mirrors were shaking like 2-3 inches back n forth ! We was 17 so yea 🤷♂️🤣🤣

I remember those cars, they all came with a rear window defroster as standard equipment. It kept your hands warm when you were pushing them in the winter

If I remember correctly, the Yugo and the original Hyundai Excel came out around the same time. The Yugo undercut the Hyundai in price, but people forget just how terrible that first Hyundai was. Like really bad. Girlfriend had one her dad bought new. Scary.

Have cousins that had one he loved it best gas mileage vehicle he say he ever had fuel pump went out on it , then couldn’t find parts for it found some other fuel pump And wired it in to work he got few more years out of it till someone hit it the back
