That really is what I am going to miss most — the little detail. It’s clear that no matter how well-funded or intricate the Monsters Inc. land is, it will never match the details and heart of Muppet-Vision 3-D. Farewell, old friend.

The Jim Henson foundation already admitted to having the whole show recorded and perfectly preserved. There’s no plans yet on what they’re doing with it but it is kept safe. And most of that stuff is either going in the Disney archives or to the Jim Henson foundation archives to be preserved. Either way it’s going to be safe and sound
