I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis for 42 years. No deformities but I’ve been so blessed by working for a hospital system that allowed me excellent healthcare. I’ve been on DMARDS, infusions, biologicals, etc. Anything and everything until it no longer worked. Today I’m on Rinvoq (brand) since July 2019 and well managed. My father had RA, PsorArthritis, gout, Ankylosing Spondylitis, and fibromyalgia. He suffered not having what I did. My son had Juvenile Rheumatoid arthritis at 14.

I’m 40. My right hand has swan neck deformities in all my fingers. The middle finger knuckle is completely bent inward. My left hand has three swan necked fingers.

Me too! Both hands with RA and severe OA. 😳 And yes very painful! When your joints are swollen and bending and joints are just appearing, it’s gonna be very painful! 😳
