My dad will be 82 in July and had a triple bypass almost 2 years ago. It has definitely aged him. He’s always been this strong, vibrant, AMAZING human being and to see him slow down is terrifying. My mom is 81 and hasn’t slowed down a bit so I don’t worry quite as much about her… I just don’t know what I’m going to do when his time finally comes, he is my best friend ❤️

June 22 2023 I lost my mom to cancer she was my best friend grief doesn’t go away I miss her daily but I do accept it has definitely gave me compassion and opened my eyes to life isn’t promised.

Lost my mom January 9th 2024 unexpectedly a year and 5 days before her one year death mark I lost my daughter to sids January 4th 2025 she was only 3 months old and she was named after my mama I miss them both every day very much

I lost my dad to brain cancer when I was 16. He was my best friend and I agree 100% I lost my innocence that day and a part of me died. Grief is a revolving door that doesn’t end, and jealousy towards the ones who still have their dad is still there. I’m 33 now.
