@benjiplant: May is Clean Air Month, which was created to raise awareness about the dangers of air pollution and the importance of clean air. I'm partnering with @Climate Power to bring attention to Clean Air Month! Recently, Congress passed a bill that will pull billions in clean energy investments and cut funding for climate programs like the EPA and the Department of Energy. Since taking office, the current administration has announced a wave of regulatory rollbacks on emission limits on power plants and cars. This means fewer regulations on corporations and more consequences to our health. After an urban wildfire like the one in LA, exposure to pollution in the air is a risk to everyone for weeks and possibly months. Air pollution can affect your indoor air quality which is why I purchased a couple of HEPA air purifiers for our home. LA is still recovering and heading into summer smog season, where hot summer days and stagnant air lead to unhealthy air quality. So check daily air quality and limit outdoor activity if the AQI is high!
