maybe don't use Dukes? perhaps tangy mayonnaise gives you a tangy cake ? Try Hellmans.🤔

It’s supposed to be hellman’s and just add a dollop to your cake mix with the eggs and oil. You can use Dukes mayo for cornbread.

The one thing that makes dukes different from some of the other brands is paprika. Stick with basic mayo, egg and oil.

I think this may be a grear option for me with vegan mayo— my daughter is allergic to eggs/wheat.. peanut and treenut. So to clarify.., is the mayo cake good? Does it rise? Thank you

There was a series of recipes in a magazine in the late 80s ladies home journal or women’s day one of those that had a cake mix that you could make and then mix the mayonnaise in and put it in the microwave to cook it. Wish I had those recipes today.
