@iloverescue: 🐾 Meet Popcorn 🐾 📍 Devore Animal Shelter | ID #A820268 🗓️ Arrived: May 28 | Age: 2 years | Breed: Maltese mix 💔 Found on the streets, matted, filthy, and missing a front leg When popcorn came into the shelter, she was in heartbreaking condition—soaked, covered in mats, dirt, and bugs, and too scared to even lift her head. She curled into the corner of her kennel, shut down and trembling, as if she had already accepted defeat. popcorn is a tripod, missing her front right leg—no one knows what she went through out there, but it’s clear she’s a survivor. Thankfully, shelter staff have since gently groomed her, removing the heavy mats and years of neglect from her tiny frame. She’s finally clean and starting to feel a small measure of comfort. But what she really needs is a safe, loving home to heal.
