@sugarspundreams: first (and last) time making coralines welcome home cake😀🖤 recipe: chocolate cake recipe: (feel free to use a box mix) 2 1/2 cups of sugar (500g) 4 eggs 2 cups of milk(480ml) 1 cup of neutral oil (240g) 4 tsp vanilla extract 3 cups of flour (380g) 2 cups cocoa powder (160g) 3 tsp baking powder (12g) 3 tsp baking soda (12g) 2 tsp salt(10g) 2 cups HOT water or coffee (480ml) (this recipe is a huge batch it makes 3 9x2 circular cakes, 5 cups of batter in each) combine your eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, mix in the rest of your wet ingredients (except for water) until combined. then mix in all of your dry ingredients. after mixing in your dry ingredients add in your hot water/ coffee. (your batter should be thin) seperate into your pans and bake at 350•F for 20-25 minutes. let your cakes cool before you start frosting. chocolate buttercream: 4 sticks of softened butter(454g) 6 cups powdered sugar (720g)(sifted) 1/4 cup cocoa powder 2-4 tbsp heavy cream 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp instant coffee cream your butter until fluffy, then add in your sifted powdered sugar. add in the rest of your ingredients, when your buttercream is finished it should have stiff peaks. (store in fridge until you use) white chocolate ganache: 6 oz white chocolate 1/4 cup heavy cream (60ml) pink food coloring warm up your white chocolate until it’s melted (heat up for 10-15 seconds increments if in microwave) then heat up your heavy cream until warm (not hot) mix together until your ganache starts to thicken, once your ganache is finished let cool before adding on the top of the cake (don’t let it cool too much you still want drips) #coraline #coralinejones #cake #Recipe #baking #bakingrecipe #fyp
