Congrats! Hold on to your car as long as it runs well. Once it’s paid off, open a separate savings account and start depositing the same monthly payment into it. That way, you’ll be ready to pay cash or make a large down payment when it’s time for your next vehicle.

My biggest flex is that I’ve paid off 3 car loans early but don’t ask me how much cc debt we have 🫠 it’s all relative babe. Nothing to be embarrassed about. You live and learn

every car i had 3 i paid off and had for awhile the last one i had i had aome of the loan roll over to the one i have now and wish i didn’t

Don’t be embarrassed when you simply were involved in a system that was created to feel normal…. I felt the same exact way when we paid off our cars… it was LIFE CHANGING to drive paid off cars for the first time ever. Everyone I know has continued to upgrade cars every 2-4 years while we’ve had the same cars 😅 and what’s funny is I feel insecure about that sometimes, all while I’ve not had a car payment in 10 years… you’re pushing back against what society has normalized.
