Eggs don’t drop during your period. They drop during ovulation. Your period is the shedding of the uterine lining. Your period marks day one of your cycle and ovulation usually occurs around day 14. A cycle lasts about 28 days total.

Saying that droping an egg from a different ovary each time is wrong. That's not always the case. I have a dominant ovary that releases an egg most of the time, and the other ovary only does like once a year

Oh yeah then with fertility treatments you can ovulate from both sides, multiple eggs and if it doesn’t end up as a pregnancy the periods are 10000x worse 😅

I was on a fertility journey and got to know the difference in feelings from the 2 sides. Mine don’t rotate side every month but I struggle with progesterone issues so it’s common for me. I got super happy when my fertility doctor told me I had a pretty ovary and follicle during one of my appointments.
