sometimes i feel so ”hopless” as a new caster. i wanna be a broadcast talent and not a costreamer and it hurts to see people saying broadcasts are dying and i wonder if it’s worth it pushing myself even harder to make it😕

Co-streams would be more popular if there was no official feed on in the background. It would then be exclusive content. It’s like when co-streamers do tracking the pros or watch LPL streams from foreign streaming sites. The tug of war works both ways with the broadcast taking away views from streamers and streamers taking away views from broadcast.

Costreaming is harming the competitive scene. But me personally, i like watching caedrel WAY more than official streams… if league esports were smart they would fully integrate costreams into a business model to sell ads. But then again the part what works well with people like caedrel is that he has autonomy about the content he makes, it might be less enjoyable if it all got integrated

it seems like the official LEC stream is as a massive disadvantage and something needs to be done or it will continue to leak viewers I hope something is done as people like yourself and Laure and Medic and everyone else bring so much to the broadcast and losing top talent like you all would be a shame

That’s life and is reflective of what type of content is popular on every platform. React streamers are also insanely popular on youtube and all they do is watch movies and tv shows and discuss them for a bit and get lots of views. Costreaming is react content but in esports.
