@mountainfacts: The Arizona Strip is one of the most beautiful, yet underrated, places in all of the United States. #geography #mountains #arizona #arizonastrip #nationalparks
The north rim of the Grand Canyon was SO much better than the south rim. And 90% fewer people REALLY makes a difference

It’s also super close to: Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Canyonlands, Arches, Capitol Reef, Grand Escalante, Monument Valley, Four Corners, Sunset Crater, Glen Canyon

The Sierra Nevada. So many visitors but has an unbelievable quantity of world class hidden gems, ie: Tehipite valley

Grew up in Southern Utah. Spent many a weekend out on the Arizona Strip. Absolutely wonderful to call that area my home

Can you do a video on public lands in like the PA-NY-NJ-MD area? I would love to go exploring but the east isn't exactly known for its natural beauty

Southern UT, northern AZ, western CO. That whole block of the country is endlessly enchanting. Absolutely loaded with parks, monuments, and protected lands.

Honestly my favorite parts of the US has always been Wyoming and Colorado. Coming from western Pennsylvania where it’s all just small hills and trees in my area. There’s amazing places but nothing like Loveland pass and specifically Etna Wyoming are the two I remember best. The Grand Canyon was immensely beautiful, but the Rockies really resonated with me on a deeper level.

Mine is a tie between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Atchafalaya basin, but I can count on one hand how many times I've been out of the Southeast US, so I might not have the fullest perspective

I remember seeing a B-52 bomber about 200 ft off the ground next to the vermilion cliffs in the mid 1980s

I’ve been there twice and I just can’t get enough of it. The Vermillion Cliffs and White Pocket are absolutely stunning. We rented kayaks and floated around Horseshoe Bend as well. I will be back
