Have the tested her for Cystic Fibrosis?? I’m a carrier for the gene but hubby isn’t. If both id us were carriers we had a higher chance of our kids having it.

She may unfortunately be a covid long hauler a lot of us have struggled with a weird variety of symptoms(over 250 and counting) with no explanation other then the disease itself being the origin becaude the body just cant fught off the disease no longer contagious but it contiues to do damage, keep searching for answers but that may explain the breathing and infections getting worse along with the aspiration, its progressive, I went from walking to an electric wheelchair because my legs burn and breathing is incredibly hard,

Has any provider thought that her symptoms could be related to long covid since she had it as an infant?

My oldest had tracheamalacia and sounded just like that. Has it been ruled out? It was so scary trying to get them a diagnosis.

My son has the exact issues as your daughter and he was on an NG tube and nothing by mouth and then after a repeat swallow study showing no change he got a G tube and does not have any issue with “rattling” or congestion anymore. Unless he gets into liquid by accident

I really hope this isn’t an annoying suggestion, I know that every baby is different. But my son was hospitalized 3x in first 4 months of life due to respiratory failure. Has any doctor mentioned a daily steroid inhaler for her? We do that twice a day then the albuterol inhaler as needed when sick. He has done so well sinfe then

Have they ruled out tracheomalacia? Might be worth pursuing? Just found your videos so if it was ruled out then forgive me. Hope you get answers!

My son had tons of respiratory infections and ear tubes by 4 months old. Sick till he was 8 yrs old and was diagnosed with an immune deficiency. Have her immunoglobulins checked.

This is similar to us! My 4 month old has severe reflux and confirmed aspiration on the intake and on the reflux. But he’s EBF which is sterile so it’s not causing pneumonia so we keep getting pushed off. It’s so frustrating - we’re finally scheduled with out of town specialists who are going to do a scope and put a plan of care together , hopefully 🤞🏻 he sounds the same at night as the video of your daughter

Have you considered having genetic testing done? Solved so many of our questions and got my daughter’s diagnosis/treatment way quicker (of course this would only help if it’s something strange that can be picked up on those tests).

Have they tested her for common variable immunodeficiencies? My son had transient hypogammaglobulinemia of infancy. He had chronic respiratory infections which resulted in permanent scarring. He has since outgrown it.

Hi mama! I’m in the same situation you were in, in the beginning. Doctors are gaslighting us so much but I know deep down it’s a big problem somewhere and I just don’t know. I pus and push but ofc they let us down

Hey. My sons journey sounds a little similar to yours. My son’s doctors have put him on prophylactic antibiotics during winter/ flue season and so far we have seen a huge difference in his illnesses not progressing as far as they would. Xx
