In MY opinion I’ve never been around anyone that idles the motor for a few minutes before shutting down, and if was a issue then it would be pushed by the manufacturers

Always like your heavy haul content but unless your towing you don’t need to let it cool down after every drive

It’s not necessarily that the oil can burn around it, but the mechanical oil pump will stop pumping oil when you kill the truck, the turbine bearing will stay hot without lubrication which will eventually cut the life of the turbo down significantly.

K&n filter let dirt through and oiled filters are no good for diesels you want a dry filter

the truck is a high output i have one it will not say on valve cover. but you only need to worry about hot shutdown when youe hauling something mainly. under 400 egt you can shut it down

They oil will handle it here & there but I’d argue it’s more important on a daily driven truck cuz it gets shut off far more times than most high hp applications. Hot shut offs add up quicker than people think

Delo oil is some good shit 👍you might be better off with a oil with a higher zinc content Cummins use a flat tapper camshaft I hear rotella has a higher zinc content in it. I personally use Amsoil it’s your call . Delo and Mobil reduced the zinc content in there oils for emission purposes
