Nah, a lot of that Is his stuff and he wants help in paying for it now? He shouldn’t of got it then. My father even said if a man asks you to live with him and wants you to pay half or pick the slack up that’s bull, it’s his stuff and he’s looking for help with bills not a relationship.

If my fiancé expected to split finances 50/50 our monthly budget would almost be cut in half. If he’s not willing to live within the means of a lower budget he shouldn’t expect OP to split finances in a way that is unattainable for majority of couples in this economy.
