Would you have any tips for helping a dog with bad seperation anxiety get more comfortable with being left alone? If I ever have to go some where without her she has to be crated and she just goes crazy. I have no issues getting her into the crate and she’ll even go in on her own. Its when i leave thats the problem.

any tips for dogs who are solely food motivated? I can get my dogs to do things with treats but as soon as I take the treats out of the equation they absolutely lose interest in the task. It is so hard to train them.

So many people immediately say grab treats. What do you do for those dogs that do not have food drive? There are no treats that are high value enough for my dog. He is very toy driven, would that be an option?

Is it possible to do this without the dog like. Licking your hands? I find it so hard to work with my dogs because of sensory issues sometimes. I don’t want her constantly licking at my hands unless it’s a little touch right when she gets the treat.
