I have been doing it since 26, 29 now. I couldn’t do Monday to Friday. 4 on 4 off is the way forward. Great work/lifestyle balance!

It’s the no access to running water and toilets that stops me from doing nights out if you don’t go for a number 2 at services or at work sites you will be doing it in a plastic bag on an evening the £25-30 for a night out is pitiful as well

i used to do it but only a couple nights a week, I liked it for the most part, especially when out in the boonies at a decent truck stop (few and far between). wake up and see the sun rise. before I did that the idea of sleeping in a cab or going camping in a camper van was my idea of hell. now I wanna get a vw camper and tour Scotland for a few weeks.

Same with me, when i was trunking i was getting between 4 and 5 hours of sleep-hell! Monday was fine, Tuesday sort of, Wednesday-Dead, Thursday all right because of Wednesday sleep and Friday again 9pm Dead, Saturday until i realise i was off the day was gone, Sunday again getting some sleep for Monday but trunking never again unless i do not longer than 9 hours shifts. If longer than 9 hours shifts I'd rather choose Tramping!
