I'm a LEO in Florida and when I first saw this video a while back it made me sick. The officer that assaulted this man should have been arrested that day but instead his department tried to cover it up. Only after the video got out did the department do an internal investigation in which they cleared the officer of any wrong doing. It's not until an outside agency did an investigation and only then we're charges brought against this officer. Like I said this officer should have been in handcuffs that day .They wonder why people don't trust Law Enforcement anymore and it's because things like this . His superiors and who ever did the investigation should also be charged for trying to cover it up .
