A fetus is incapable of homeostasis and reproduction. It is also not a separate and independent entity. It is therefore not alive. Life starts at birth.

"Released paf causes a range of alterations in maternal physiology" its the mother reacting to changes in its internal environment. the fetus isn't reacting, it's going through the script detailed in its biological development process. it states that the embryo goes through the same process when done in IVF, hence it not reacting, but going through the biological script. I'm any case, I agree it's alive. but so is sperm cells and egg cells. life doesn't equal rights

If fetuses, embryos, zygottes are alive because they exist in the womb that keeps them alive. Then, does that means ms Adrianna Smith is also alive cuz she's kept under machine that makes her alive? Even tho she's brain dead? But biologically "alive". If yes then by this logic plugging out anyone who was put under life support should be consider m*rder and instead we should just wait till machines energy won't run out so only then the body that is attached to it could die of natural causes.
