@precision_healing: If you have MCAS, you can spend years trying to lower histamine but you are better off by addressing your nervous system health, healing emotional trauma, and detoxing the body. #mcas #autoimmunedisease #histamineintolerance #histaminesensitivity #mastcellactivationsyndrome

Doctors need to stop ignoring the fact that mast cells live in connective tissue and we are woefully under diagnosing connective tissue disorders. I can’t fix something with my diet that is a hereditary condition with trash connective tissue. But doctors told me it’s just anxiety for decades. It’s malpractice.

Autoimmune is defined by cells attacking itself. That is not mast cell. Mast cell is an inappropriate immune response. Completely different.

Chronic fear from 9 years of emotional/verbal abuse and psychological terrorism. My true allergy is the abusers. Something for others who have it to think about.

Do you address the connective tissue disorders that underlie all of these issues? It’s all about the collagen. That’s the root cause - everything else stems from that, even the “emotional” stuff.

I’m not sure I am 100 percent on board with your word usage. Mcas is commonly in asd community and EDS community so addressing mcas can help these conditions. That is your root cause hypermobility and that is not fixable. Is treat the mcas bc often it stabilizes connective tissue to baseline and helps dysautomia. .

Please keep sharing and doing what you’re doing. As someone with MCAS this is so well said and so important. The emotional component of fear and lack of safety is SO important to address and often the hardest work 🥹🥲

As someone who has MCAS, the fear component is so me. I’m still trying to figure out my medication regimen. I’m on a low histamine diet, but I’m becoming more sensitive to foods. Fear just keeps taking over.

Thank you - I am hypersensitive to meds, supplements and diet changes. It’s hard for my doctors to understand.

I have told people for my entire 48 yrs, it's been dysfunction and crazy stress. family, teachers, bosses, bf, friends, work environments, betrayal, manipulation, lying, mind games, narcissistic gaslighting x1000.. my body has chosen to now over react to Everything, food, air, temperature, water, etc bc the brain has failed to make decisions to protect before this point

I don’t think I agree with you. You make it sound like it’s preventable/controllable. I’ve had MCAS, EDS, and POTS symptoms since I was a child (way before knowing they were symptoms). This was at a time in my life where I was getting good sleep, no notable stressors, extremely healthy diet. Managing/reducing symptoms though healthy living, yes, but I don’t think it can cure.

I'm HONESTLY just tired. So tired. Dealing with multiple AI conditions? western medicine treats the symptoms, others just tell me to treat the "root" cause. When there can be a HUGE number of causes. I'm 48 and have been consciously trying for at least 20 years. So freaking tired.
