Good, but I notice a little contradiction: if you say you learn English because you need Western technology, then you're not 100% self-reliant as Juche ideology wants. Yes, Dprk is still much more independent from the West than even Russia and China, but I suppose Juche should recognize that a bare minimum of know-how coming from abroad is needed.

There used to be communism in Poland, I was growing up in it and country maybe not as much internationally involved, was a safe place to live in. We had food, free education free healthcare including dentistry. Public transport was government regulated and cheap. We did not feel oppression I miss the safe childhood with simpler lifestyle. Today, poverty is abhorrent
