“do you think it’s because the cost of living” … please be so fr 💀. Stuff has gone up wayyyyyy to much so it’s a joke like weekly food shops cost around £75-£90 now unlike before it was £40-£60 which isn’t cheap but it’s much easier and not everyone can get jobs to afford stuff anymore.

If they don’t trust the every day law abiding shoppers then why should we trust them?, What are they doing with that footage? Are they using it to determine what you buy? Are they using it to see how much we spend per product?, It’s not just about shoplifting that’s for sure.

It’s not cctv cameras Morrisons have them aswell it’s optic cameras they take photos of the shelf’s for stock levels and help staff recognise empty areas of stock to replenish them so they are always available for customers , they can’t legally film you in secret they have to have cctv on show and have signs to say that you are being recorded for security purposes

I worked for the company installing them, they are for stock levels, and they don't record, they only take pictures
