Some people are asking about soil- I bought an enriched topsoil from WalMart / it was just 1.87 Canadian per bag - I find it very good. I had to buy a lot of it but because it’s so cheap I use it liberally. Don’t forget to add all of your potted plants to perennial garden beds

I feel the same way about mint. I’m honestly okay with it growing huge. I think the big issue is when people put it in containers with other herbs not realizing it will crowd out other plants. But if you’re on top of keeping it contained in the ground… then mojitos and mint juleps all summer!!?
