I love my work, but I plan to retire in the next five years. I also enjoy traveling and living life to the fullest because tomorrow is not guaranteed. I have seen colleagues who intended to work indefinitely and sadly passed away without ever enjoying their time or money. Therefore, it's important to plan wisely and consult with a financial adviser.

My husband and I retired 21 years ago. I was 54 and he was 58. What a wonderful retirement we have had. We traveled when we both were healthy, spending a month at a time in a different location then settling for Hilton Head for 2 months out of the year for 15 years. Met great people along the way. We are now 77 and 81 and are enjoying our home and limited travel. We were very lucky to be able to retire at an early age

Retired 20 months ago at 62 and you hit all the high points. Worked 34 years for state government and part time as a fitness instructor. Now I’m “just” a fitness instructor 3 hours a week and living my best life!
