Tender is the Flesh has such a good concept but I found the author could’ve SHOWED me so much of the world to build up the horror of what the main character was experiencing, but I felt she just spoon fed it to me and I was so bummed by it. The ending sticks with me though!

The gargoyle is definitely one of my favorite book characters of all time. The book was good, the romance fell very flat for me, but the gargoyle was EVERYTHING 😭

Did you get the criticism to society on tender is the flesh? I think the author is encouraging us to not believe everything the government says and think more by ourselves. That book totally blew my mind 🤯🤯
