As a fearful avoidant I see a lot of myself in this video. But I feel like something very importen is missing. As a fearful avoidant I always fall in love with very dysfunctional people with addiction and many other issues. They are much more avoidant than me and they treat me like you described in the video. But I feel like, if I just love them more or prove my love, they will stay and get better. I had a lot of therapy and because of that, I healed some of the trauma and some of my respond mechanisms. So I became a easy target for a narcissist, because of that. When I healed enough to attract a healthy loving partner that’s when I realized all the things I did wrong 😮💨😮💨 I saw myself not being left, but actually pushing someone special away. He reflected it back to me with out drama and I just had to sit with it. It broke me into pieces. now I’m doing my very best to heal myself emotionally and mentally so I don’t hurt anyone else again. 🙏 I don’t want to be like that. All I dream about is love ❤️and right now, I’m learning to love myself.

I am fearful avoidant. I’m in love with a dismissive avoidant. It’s been a ride. But two years in… we are both finding “our flow”, and I am hellbent to heal and to stay. 💗 My DA has been the balance I needed, and vice versa. If you love them… get help. Stay. You can do it. 💗

We withdraw, shut down, and push away the very people we long to keep close, not because we dont love them, but because we fear they will abandon or hurt us. until those wounds are healed, we spend our lives running from love instead of embracing it.
