For those who don't have the side story - Marina Abramović and Ulay were together for 12 years, from 1976 to 1988, living, travelling and making art together. Although their passionate yet explosive relationship collapsed, both admitted that they were each other's 'love of life'. After 22 years of no contact they rekindled friendship after this very meeting at 2010 ,Artist is Present' performance and stayed close till Ulay's death in 2020.

No matter what happened with you and your ex... they make you who you are right now, and the memories is still part of you, you cant exactly unlove or forget someone from your life, and the one you loved and who hurt you the most is the one thats really hard to forget, and if you suddenly meet them its and kinda confusing feeling.. its love, but also hate, regret, and also a relief..., but deep down but you still can moveon and be the best version of yourself and its all on you.. you did this..not because of them, they only part of the lesson that you learned thru life🙃
