At first I only sat beside my mum, held her hand and cried. Once she could no longer get out of bed, I snuggled up, held her tightly and told her she was an incredible mum, that we’ll be okay, and it’s not her fault bcuz I just didn’t want her to feel any guilt. Mum’s always take on too much blame and I didn’t want her to worry 😫😭😭😭

If you’ve been in this position my gawd does he say it perfectly!! I just cried again over that last scene with my grandma! The world just isn’t as colorful without her in it! I was 16 at the time and didn’t couldn’t say all the ways I loved her, it was just tears and I only got to make peace in my dreams

I didnt have a close relationship with my mom unlike most people are sharing in the comments. A stroke took away her ability to speak in the last few years of her life. But I never felt a loss so deep as hers. I always say: I died when she died. If you knew me before, you a 1000% don’t know me now. I’m trying to know me now.
