Tank size should be 4x2x2. Substrate should be a loose pet safe soil so they can dig. Make sure to have a basking spot, and a UVB light, they need both. Always make sure they have fresh water, veggies, and offer live insects multiple times a week. Good luck!!!

I would switch his basking light to an Arcadia basking light the red light can affect his eye sight and id use a loose substrate instead of the carpet he or she can get theirs claws stuck.

Please change the reptile carpet and get a bigger tank! The carpet is harbering harmful bacteria and can rip out nails and teeth

He also needs a proper basking platform, pavement or a piece of slate. No redlight. It can blind them. Needs a linear uvb and heat lamp on 12 hour cycle. Temps between 35-39 degrees Celsius on the warm side. Needs a hide on each side. No hammock no reptile carpet. Paper towel or reptile textured flooring is easy to clean and disinfect. Needs a proper balanced diet of salads and live bugs with calcium with and without d3 powder.

hey no hate his cage should be bigger, u need some sort of reptile snap uvb bulb o and they are pretty nice animals so make sure to give him love and attention and a lot more hides GOOD LUCK!

I’d recommend changing from reptile carpet to a loose substrate instead!💗 Reptile carpet can trap bacteria and they can get their nails and teeth stuck! Hope this helps!💗

Hii!!! Don’t be scared of it they are harmless😭 they like to climb so that’s probably why it jumped in your hair but it doesn’t mean any harm:) try getting it something to climb on that should help!!! but it’s good to socialize them so they won’t become hostile and scared of you😭

If you don’t want the reptile carpet or substrate . You could use slate tile for the floor , very easy to clean . I would add some hides and a uvb to the Inside of the tank .

i used to have that bottom but it kept shedding so i went to home depot and got just regular like tile slate and took mesurments ans cut with a thing called “anvil” maybe ur husband could, its so easy to keep clean a paper towel and water thats jr
