I'm not sure if you know this either, Mister DeGrasse, but what you are speaking about as far as "Christians" trying to take over at the time is known as the great apostasy. It is not based on true Christianity, but as a way to control and dominate the people by co-mingling traditional pagan beliefs with the Christianity of the Bible. You will never find December 25 anywhere in the original Bible text (but...possibly in new counterfeit productions of Bibles? I'm not sure, since I've never read any new ones). True Christians realize that this is a co-mingling of beliefs, based on deep, sincere research of both the original Bible text AND of traditional pagan beliefs.

despite science, you forgot one thing, jesus was a jew and 25 december count from jewish calendar and the calculation precisely count from the month where angel visit mary to the date jesus born, it's nothing to with the sun, if somehow coincidence with sun movement don't connect it or try to "fix & match"
