They should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery NOT the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. The latter is NOT recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

this is how dentists work too. general dentist can go to a weekend course and do ortho or perio work. it's horrible. they have specialities for a reason

Dr. Azi in San Diego tried to take my money! I filed a dispute with my credit card company, sent them the emails for billing proof, then ruled in my favor but she still sent me to collections. I was fooled by her social media.

Yes I chose my surgeon b/c I work with him. I know his technique (I’m an anesthesiologist) I know exactly what they do. 😬 Also most o the great ones don’t have social media!

The dr I went to a few years ago I barely did my reaserach on him and he was a pediatrician who has not been board certified since 2011 safe to say I won’t go back his social media is pretty “loud”.
