My daughter self diagnosed her tinnitus only it wasn’t tinnitus it was venous sinus stenosis. 2 world renowned neurologists couldn’t find. They believed her, stunted the artery near her ear and she is now cured.

Gosh I wish y'all took insurance! We're only about 20/30 mins from y'all. My ears ring 24/7, plus other issues, been tested for everything under the sun w/ really no true answers. I take a too many meds to be my age!

I get a constant whoosing sound and pulsatile tinnitus along with dizziness. I have all tests and I'm clear. I broke my neck 2 years ago and I believe that's the cause.

But I’ve had hearing loss and told I need a hearing aid to bring out the hearing I do have and trick my brain to stop looking for the sound I lost?? If it neurons why the hearing loss?

as someone with Cochlear Implants, since those remove any residual hearing, I can definitely tell you the ringing is your brain 😭 I can still hear it when my ears are off, and the ringing episodes will make my hearing more sensitive. bodies and brains are wild arent they?
