My son was almost 4 when he finally potty trained. He told me that pull ups were "stylish & functional" 😂 He outsmarted us until he decided he was ready.

My daughter potty trained in 3 days. Never had an accident. My son peed on the potty, stood up, stared at me, peed on the floor. I gave up😅

My oldest is 8 and she potty trained at 3. My youngest is 3.5 now, got told by her pediatrician that she should be potty trained by 3, and she is barely showing interest in it. Every. Child. Is. Different

I didn't think my daughter would be ready for a little while longer. she quite literally woke up& decided she was potty trained. But we never forced her, just made a big deal when she would use it 💜

As a mom who had a baby last year 12 weeks early. She’s 15 months now and I’m stressed everyday of is she doing things at the right time. Like she was 2lbs and now she’s 23 lbs walking and talking but I’m stressed.

Absolutely. Everyone thinks their kids a genius especially if they hit a milestone early. It’s like no they just walked early or talked early.

My son is 2 1/2 as well and also nowhere near potty training however, our friend’s daughter who is six months younger than him potty trained herself as well. I truly believe girls hit milestones sooner than boys.

When I had my son and for the first 5 years. I hated being a mom. Hardly interacted with him. He taught himself to walk at 2. Love him so much now so please don’t judge.

My boys pediatrician once told me, you never see a mentally capable adult walking around in a pull up. They will get their on their own time don’t stress and I stopped caring at that moment

I had an eval with my 2 almost 3 year old at the school district for pre k and when they asked me if he was potty trained, I awkwardly said no.. They were like “He’s two. He’s just not ready. Not all kids are the same” and it was so nice to hear a professional say it. My two boys are cut from the same cloth, but so different lmao.

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 love this . When my daughter was 1 my family was shocked that she wasn’t potty training but her dad’s side was saying it’s till too early wait till she’s 3 . YOUR KID WILL SHOW SIGNS WHEN THEY ARE READY. Disclaimer: we started when she was 2 bc she kept taking off her diaper, she finally got it when she was 3

Facts! Everyone reaches their milestones at their own pace. I don’t even feel like it has to do with what we do but it’s about the kid. One of my twins got the potty thing down while the other just watches. She’ll get there when she gets there

My son didn’t walk until 18 months old, turns out the poor kid was blind as a bat and I found out at my eye appt when the dr was just having fun showing him the equipment and discovered a problem. He was not quite 3 🤷🏼♀️

My son potty trained early but later I realized it most likely was due to his sensory issues. That’s whole other can of worms. 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😂
