They help when you use them. I take mine up to dry each time. But this week I scrubbed the whole big shower floor with soap and baking soda. At the end I was crouched down and reached for something outside the door. I became airborne and flew out the shower at supersonic speed. Skinning the back of my hand and bruising an elbow knee and hip. It could have been much worse
