Do you eat the flowers? 🌼 When I was a kid, my grandparents would pick zucchini flowers straight from the garden every summer. I remember thinking, flowers, we’re eating flowers? Now they’re one of my favorite things to make. I bought a whole case at a market here in Italy for 25 bucks and this is one of my favorite ways to make them. I still have a ton left… what should I make with the rest? Fried Zucchini Flowers Ingredients 24 zucchini flowers 8 oz (225 g) fresh mozzarella, cut into small pieces ¾ cup (100 g) 00 flour ¾ cup (100 g) rice flour 1 cup (250 g) cold sparkling water 1 ice cube Sea salt Sunflower or peanut oil Instructions 1. Gently open each zucchini flower and remove the center and the outer petals. 2. Stuff each flower with a small piece of mozzarella, then twist the petals closed. 3. Whisk together the 00 flour, rice flour, sparkling water, a pinch of salt, and an ice cube. 4. Dip each flower into the batter, twisting it as you coat it, then place it directly into the hot oil. 5. Fry until golden and crispy, turning as needed. 6. Serve hot! Optional: These are also delicious without mozzarella or stuffed with a small anchovy! #zucchini #EasyRecipe #fyp
