Knicks fan, watched all 5 years, first 2 were incredible, he developed, showed his style wasn’t just stick to vets and run to ground. Last 3 years, he has gone back burn em out coaching. His schemes have changed, but are not very in game focused and relies on seeing videos to see adjustments and even then, they are such minor adjustments it doesn’t show impact. This year, we went 2-18 against top teams, and the playoffs was an almost pure will series. The players had more than 3 player only meetings during playoffs ALONE. There are internal issues that cost to much, and it was inevitable when looking in hindsight

Hes been with us for a bit now. He’s a good coach but as a Knicks fan it’s the right move. There’s various reason, stubbornness on lineups, won’t use bench, doesn’t run a great offense, and playing them too much. If you don’t watch the Knicks then I wouldn’t blindly run with the narrative he didn’t deserve to be fired. I really like the dude but if we wanna go further I think this is the necessary action.

Tips failed. Knicks got a better roster than Pacers and lost to them. Knicks are same situation like Warriors/Raptors a few years back they both made HC despite having a good coach. this is good move.
