The way the landscape changes outside the window makes those long hours feel worth it. Haven’t tried a sleeper train in SE Asia yet but this is tempting.

We just did the 12 hour train from Ninh Binh to Hue with our family of 4. It went overnight, looked very similar to yours. Our boys just thought the whole thing was a great adventure.
