@jasontartick: The Garbage Plate was invented in Rochester, NY in 1918! It’s still a HOT commodity in the community over 100 years later! The Base: a bed of home fries and/or macaroni salad. I went with both The Protein: I went with double cheeseburger but you can choose from various protein options, including cheeseburgers, hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, or chicken.  Meat Sauce: a classic ingredient is the Rochester-style meat sauce, which is a spicy, meat-based sauce.  Condiments: Mustard, onions, and sometimes hot sauce, ketchup, jalopenos or peppers can be added.
