My friends and I used to swim there. Not talking about the beach area either. We jumped off the rocks and then laid to dry off inthe sun. That was a long time ago. It isn’t allowed anymore.

If you walk the trail there is a sign for “Sandberg Island” and that land is part of the land we sold back to the state because it is part of the Ice Age Trail

i love state and national parks, but i wish more people understood there is SO MUCH beauty outside of them. similar views, similar features, and cheaper. less human intervention. I like it better that way💕
