You are one of the few people I follow that I can feel your dedication to your faith. Don’t give up, speak your truth because you are right. One question I have for you, what would have happened if Christ had given up? This is exactly what Christian Nationalism wants. I just thinking, there has to be more people like you that are true Christian’s and know that your religion is being attacked and misrepresented.

I hear you and agree with you. I was an Independent until Rump was elected then changed to Democrat. I am angry that our lives have been disrupted by this felon and his enablers. I am tired and disgusted with him wanting to be a dictator & those going along with it.

I’m one of those who don’t. I feel exactly the way you described. It’s a struggle trying to act/feel Christ-like towards these people. They proudly announce that they are Christians yet act in ways that make it clear they don’t understand Him at all.

First of all we need to find another name for them because they are not truly Christians they give Christians a bad name but they are not Christians. You are correct. This is not the party. It used to be. My father was a republican and a very good person and he had many of the beliefs that the Democrats now espouse. However, he also had prejudices he learned in his early life. His higher education was a couple courses of calculus. He died at 94 in 2014.

I totally totally hear what you’re saying and it’s parallels me perfectly. I think the good thing is that the relationship that I have with the Lord is my relationship and doesn’t have anything to do with the church as it is today but it’s still there with God and I love that And my politics fit my idea of who Jesus is better now so even though it’s sad to let go in some respects. It’s the right thing to do and I’m happier
