When I was a kid, I told my dad that I sing or hum when I was scared in the dark. He told me, if there's ever an intruder or so, that's how he could find me and to better be quiet. That stuck with me.

The Rake walks indigenous lands taken by the white man. He looks for anyone that doesn't belong there. My son in law came across him once in the woods hunting but he has never owned native land so it walked by him almost like he wasn't even there. Long arms and long nails... Wendingoish but eastern.
