In an attempt to cope with the profound torment, Levi Davies turned to substances and died from a ketamine overdose in February 2024—exactly one year and one day after the assault took place. WINCHESTER CROWN COURT SENTENCING AND DEPORTATION Rosario Dos Reis was convicted of rape and sexual assault. In September 2023, the court handed Rosario Dos Reis an extended sentence of 14 years and four months, consisting of 8 years and 4 months in immediate custody and an additional 6 years on an extended licence. The family of Levi Davies shared their story to emphasize that while the attacker was imprisoned, the weight of the crime belongs solely to the perpetrator, not the victim. STATUS AND CASE DETAILS (2023) Legal Status: CONVICTED (Rape; Sexual assault). Custodial Status: JAILED (Rosario Dos Reis sentenced to 8 years and 4 months in prison with a 6-year extended licence). Victim Impact: Levi Davies suffered catastrophic mental health decline and PTSD, leading to her tragic death in February 2024 at age 20.
