They’re saying the rope got cut and she was flying higher and higher and panicked and thought by leaping into the water she would survive which makes a lot of sense because in the video it does look like she’s going higher

Def wasn’t the call of the void. If it was she wouldn’t have been flailing around like that ina desperate attempt of “what if I jumped”. She was panicking and def thought she’d survive the fall.

well she trained for this before it happens, I feel like she felt the parachute was going to high at a very fast pase and in her mind she thought the only way to make it out alive is to jump out into the ocean before she goes higher and the rope attached to the parachute snaps then she'll fall from a greater distance
