I noticed on the Dierks Bentley setlist, that his encore is a melody of good country covers after he's played all his hits and I think that's the way to go

Personally, if it gives the band or artist a quick break and then I’m all for it as exhausting as concerts are for me. I can only imagine how it is for them and they may want five minutes not that big of a deal.

It’s overdone imo. Would rather an artist play all their hits and if there is an encore, they use it to play older songs or ones that aren’t as popular
