This section is actually a lie. I remember this. The streaming partners told austin they would stream by PPV (pay per view) but Austin told them no and that he had the final say. They warned him if not, it would not make enough money and it didnt. It was Austin's fault. He couldn't pay fighters, or the singers, or even cleaning staff. Keep in mind one of the fighters (Bryce hall) Alone was 5 million. Catherine in this book Lied about them getting "scammed" most of their business failures were on their own accord or them scamming people not the other way around.

Catherine really believes everything Austin tells her! The numbers were indeed correct! Austin's team even hired a company to look over the numbers and it was determined to be correct, this is all legal documentation. The opposing side stated that Austin was spending ridiculous amounts of money expecting millions to watch but that wasn't the case. He over promised fighters crazy amounts of money and in the end there wasn't enough money. So no they were not scammed Austin was completely over his head and made irresponsible decisions
