Sounds like the police offer escalated the situation and now I was doing a bunch of tiki tack stuff to make this perfectly legal citizen probably with no criminal record is now facing five felony charges because the officer is having a bad day

Officer is technically correct. If this guy is so impaired that he can’t follow common directions, He should never drive a vehicle pulling a boat. 10 miles an hour on a major highway is impeding traffic and illegal. People get your hatred of COPS out of the discussion and look at reality.

So when we started to hire soldiers as peacekeepers, everything started to change. soldiers are trained to eliminate threats, not de-escalate the situation. They lived in the world of following orders without thought. Thats not the civilian life.
