I've been taking Kesimpta for six months; before that, I was on Tysabri. I agree with what you're saying, but now it's much more dangerous to get infections. I've had quite a few, and you have to be extra careful; the flu can easily turn into bronchitis

I am looking at kesimpta videos bc I have to switch from copaxone. I have 1 question- I’m JC virus positive, how do you overcome fear of pml? Bc my brain is stuck on that and I haven’t been able to man up to make the switch.

I've been on Kesimpta ~18 months, and I have never felt side effects from taking it. Everyone talks about it, especially with the loading doses. I take mine on fridays because I have weekends off. Sometimes it's a low energy weekend, sometimes I have more energy than usual. I've had two MRIs since starting, no new lesions.

I just finished my first 4 doses of Kesimpta and now starting my monthly ones. Felt the same flu like symptoms and I too decided to take in evenings. Thanks for sharing. I feel like I have an international support group!

I’ve been on Kesimpta for just over 2 years now. I also injection just before bed and used to take painkillers to aid the side effects but over time my body has gotten used to that so I can now inject and sleep it all off. I wake up feeling fine the following morning. I have also had 2 MRIs since starting Kesimpta and both have come back positive showing no new lesions on the brain which is very reassuring. Treatments and research for MS have come on a long way in recent years and hopefully it’s just a matter of time before they discover a cure for us all.

I was told to take my injection just before bed to sleep off any symptoms and to take ibuprofen before bed to help it too but I never had any of those symptoms

When I started taking Kesimpta I also had very strong aversions to food that I normally would enjoy. I had very few foods that I could eat without the smell or taste being turning me from it for no apparent reason.
