BEAUTIFUL !! U NAILED IT. I have seen so many techs replacing cats and o2 when the issue is with these valves. As a principle I clean them on my car every 1-2 years with brake cleaner and then wd40 to keep them grime free.

That's called the overfill check valve, I replaced mine on my 04 Corolla, mine had a hairline crack at the top of the valve near the seam, good diag man 👍🏽

Kill the light re do the monitor and when the evap isn’t ready but everything else is it’ll pass lmaoo it don’t need the evap to be ready
