I changed the orings on the oil filter housing on a 2012 civic si and it need to remove the cv axle and half axle and the orings worth 20 boxes and the labor was extensive...

I got a question. I have a 86 for 250. I’ve had a mechanic replaced the rear main seal and oil pan and it is still leaking. He claims that is the crankshaft and that I need to do an engine rebuild. Is this common? mind you my 86 four 250 has 46,000 original miles?
