Very shaddy company. Palantir has already been involved in social engineering in different projects. Using all that data and algorithms to create hype and inflate the share prices is a real possibility.

Palantir has always been in the ML/AI space with three arms : an analytics/logistics arm , an intelligence arm , and a tracking/mil arm ... their tech has always been valuable since day 1 , it's just that pre-2022 businesses weren't ready to fully adopt AI solutions due to the large amounts of efforts needed to facilitate an effective implementation of a case study without large digital transformation efforts up front . Their intelligence/tracking/military arms only became relevant when companies like Anduril, Palmer Lucky's military tech company , started normalising pushing forth bleeding edge tech as an advancement to current military and surveillance tech used by non military gov arms ... it wasn't a single person alone that pushed this forth , but rather a series of SV tech influencers and some proto version of the dark SV ideology , including Google , that started diving deeper into augmenting surveillance through research ( see Google's involvement in DeepCrime or using big data to predict crime or crime forecasting research ). When Dean starts stuttering and one of the few sentences he says is "I don't know" ... he truly doesn't know and any following words are just reactions to having to provide an answer to an audience on the spot which often leads to misinformed drivel
